ATSU * New MGH Program

Good Afternoon:

We have completed the first draft of the new A.T. Still University,
School of Health Management, Master of Geriatric Health (M.G.H.)
curriculum based on your input. Our planned start date is 6/11/07
(summer session). I look forward to your comments.

Each course is worth 4 credits
Total number of courses in the M.G.H. program 15
Cost per course is currently $1,395
Cost for total M.G.H. program $20,925
Financial assistance is available for those who qualify

Certificate Courses
Total of 20 Credits
Can be taken as part of the M.G.H. program or separately.
Students can take these courses first and return (within 2 terms) to
complete their M.G.H. program of study.
This set of courses is designed so that all students can have an
immediate impact on their work environment. If the student is sponsored
by a community they can immediately start working on key data
collection strategies.

Core Courses
Total of 28 Credits
These courses are designed to be taken by those students wishing
to complete the M.G.H. program.

Concentrations (only one concentration is required)
There are three different concentrations consisting of three
courses each.
Each student may chose from the following options:
1. VitaLife
2. Case Management
3. Create your own
Pick two courses from each of the first two concentrations
The third course is an Internship within a community

Students may take more than one concentration if they desire as
part of the initial program of study or as part of their
life-long-learning strategy.
